Cat Requirements

To ensure the health and safety of all feline guests, we require that all cats staying with us are up to date on the following vaccinations:

  • Rabies – Certificate required; must be valid for the entire stay
  • FVRCP – Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, and Panleukopenia

Additional Requirements:

  • Kittens under 16 weeks of age must have vaccination records provided on veterinary letterhead, even if the vaccines were not administered directly by the veterinarian.
  • A clean fecal test is required prior to lodging.
  • We recommend all feline guests be on flea and tick preventatives before their stay.

Dog Requirements

All dogs must be current on the following vaccinations:

  • Rabies – Required for dogs 16 weeks and older
  • DAPP/Distemper Combination – At least the first two boosters completed
  • Bordetella – Required for protection against kennel cough

Important Notes:

  • Puppies (16 weeks and under) must have vaccination records provided on veterinary letterhead, even if the vaccines were not administered directly by the veterinarian.
  • Records must show that the puppy has been examined by a veterinarian, and that all vaccines have been documented or transferred into their official medical file.
  • A clean fecal test is required prior to lodging.
  • Titers cannot be accepted as a substitute for vaccination records.
