Grooming Salon FAQ

How old does my puppy need to be for a first grooming appointment?

Puppies can schedule their first appointment once they have completed at least their first two DAPP/Distemper combination boosters. For puppies 16 weeks and under, official vaccination records on veterinary letterhead are required to confirm they have been examined by a vet and have their shots properly documented. 

Can I book without a boarding or daycare stay?

Yes! The Greenlin Grooming Salon is a standalone facility designed specifically for dedicated grooming appointments, so no boarding or daycare booking is required. 

What vaccinations does my dog or cat need?

Dogs must be current on Rabies (for 16 weeks and older), Bordetella, and at least the first two DAPP/Distemper boosters, along with a clean fecal test. Cats require up-to-date Rabies and FVRCP vaccines, a clean fecal test, and records on vet letterhead if under 16 weeks old. Please note that vaccine titers are not accepted in place of official records, and flea/tick preventative is strongly recommended for all feline guests.
