In the early 2000s, on a quiet 40-acre farm in Central Pennsylvania, Douglas and Stephanie Gellatly planted the first seeds of what would become a truly magical place. Doug, a true visionary, didn’t just see land—he saw potential. He imagined joyful dogs bounding through grassy fields, families feeling supported in every season of pet ownership, and a community built around care, trust, and love.
That dream became Greenlin East.
It wasn’t long before word spread—about the place where dogs thrived, families felt known, and every visit felt like coming home. As more and more families made the journey to the farm, they asked for something closer. And so, the West Shore dream began—Greenlin West opened its doors and hearts to even more Central PA families.
In 2012, the next chapter began when Doug and Stephanie’s daughter Jenn and her husband Sean returned to the family business they grew up in. Leaving careers in accounting and healthcare, they brought with them a deep love for people and pets—and a desire to evolve the Greenlin experience even further.
Their first addition, Greenlin Lambs Gap, was built right in their backyard, nestled in the community where they began raising their own children. As they walked the same sidelines and strolled the same sidewalks as their neighbors, they felt a calling to do more—for families, and for their beloved pets.
They listened closely—especially during the weekday hustle—and recognized that traffic and timing made it tough for families to get the care they needed. So they packed their bags and headed west—not just in town, but out to the West Coast to study innovative urban daycares. What they learned came home in the form of Greenlin Camp Hill, designed for convenience without compromise.
As the West Shore flourished, their hearts turned back toward home—the East Shore. The place they were raised. The community that raised them. Greenlin Hershey was born out of love, legacy, and a desire to give back to teachers, coaches, neighbors, and old friends who shaped their story.
Most recently, Greenlin Harrisburg brought the dream full circle—right into the heart of the capital city. With the area’s largest private greenspace for dogs and a design made for busy urban lives, it’s our most people-and-pup-friendly resort yet.
From one inspired farm to six vibrant locations, we’ve welcomed nearly a million dogs, tossed a million tennis balls, and handed out ten million belly rubs. But the real magic?
